Hospitality 

1 Peter 4:9 "Show Hospitality to one another without Grumbling"

This is our Aim at CE every Saturday night to show hospitality.  Saturday is a lot more than just the Meeting.  We aim for you to feel comfortable and to provide an environment where you can spend the entire of your Saturday night.  What does this mean?

Simple it means that CE should be more than just the meeting to you.  We want you to be able to come down before the meeting and relax,  as well as stay after the meeting and hangout with your friends.

What Happens Before The Meeting?

Nothing, but that does not mean that you cannot come down and chill with your friends.  The halls are open from 6.30 so if you have nowhere to go before the meeting then feel free to come down with your friends and relax.  You can sit in the hall and Listen to the band Practice.  Or you could head to the comfy seats outside the cafe and chill.  (We are sorry to inform you that The Cafe and Tuck shop services are not open before the meeting)

 

What Happens After The Meeting?

Well that is Entirely up to you.  CE does not set out what you can and cannot do.  However we do offer some facilities that you should take Advantage off.  There is the Cafe which is set up to create a relaxed more intimate environment.  This facility tends to be more used by the older members of CE but is open to anyone who fancies a cup of Tea, a Latte, an Americano or simply wants somewhere Quiet to sit.  The Cafe offers a more Quiet and intimate environment that the rest of the CE Halls.

Tuck Shop.  The famous CE tuck shop has been about CE since Gilly joined.  It has changed Ownership many times but currently falls under the ownership of Mark Baxter.  who commits a lot of time and effort to running and supplying the Tuck Shop.  Its purpose is simple to provide you with what ever food you want at a cost that you can afford.

 

The rest of the hall.  Most of the building is open for you to use and chill in.  CE simply asks one thing Treat it like it was your home, do not leave rubbish lying because it makes it harder for the leaders who have to clean up after you.  

We want you to take advantage of all of this that is why there is no rush.  CE is over when the last person leaves,  Normally around 1am so come down, Worship God and then relax after the meeting.
