Thursday 8th of January 2009, it's 9.53 am. It was a struggle to get up early again to catch a train that ended up being 19 minutes late anyway. Took a detour into doorsteps for a scone which is only my second time in the place I'm ashamed to say. I've been in union library a lot which I much prefer to the one I'm currently sitting in here at Dunmurry making notes on Gnosticism.
As you would expected; when you really sit down and study you actually learn things! The only part of this course that is shaping my theology and I'm actually learning from is my own further reading for an exam or an essay. I look forward to these as this is when you begin to go "ohhhh that's interesting!" and really think about stuff. However revision is revision and I'm rediscovering my love-hate relationship with it all over again. Every January seems to suffer the same fate. But being busy seems to be better than being bored at this stage. But I'm such a grumbler, you only think you've got problems. Such is the way of the West I suppose.
